Luke Bryan Makes History With No. 1 And No. 2 Country Airplay Singles

There is nothing to stop the hip- shaking, crooning country, lovely country star known as Luke Bryan. He is the first artist in 24 years of history of the Billboard Country Airplay to fit the first two places.

Success of country superstar 'Play It Again ' caught his ninth No. 1 and its appearance in Florida Georgia Line of 'This Is How We Roll' help grab the No. 2 spot.

Bryan has set the precedent (coding reference artists for collaborations high level), which has not been touched since the genesis of the table. In addition, the letter of Hot Country Songs, Bryan has claimed Nos. 1 and 2, these two hits in four of the past five weeks, becoming the man at the top.

There are only two artists who have come to something similar since 1958, when several country rankings were filmed in a single chart, Taylor Swift and legend Buck Owens doubled in their first positions. Swift 'We Are Never ever get back together ' hit No. 1 in the same week ' Roja ' was released as a preview cut , firing at No. 2, October 2012.

Owens 'Together Again “and" My heart skips a beat ' earned him a double whammy in June / July 1964, when the songs changed their place at the top - and stayed there for three weeks.

Both Bryan hit songs were performed at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards, where he received the largest country of the night for Best Country Artist honor.
