Luke Bryan: Inside the ACM performer of the Year Nominees

Anybody who is followed the career of ‘Luke Bryan’ for any length of time is fine conscious: In 2013, Luke Bryan had the year of his life. As U.S.A Today‘s Luke Brian Mansfield noted in our video profile (watch it above), Luke Bryan “had been one of the leading country stars for a couple years. However 2013 was the year everyone else figured it out.” Luke Bryan’s large year truthfully kicked into gear during last year’s ‘Academy of Country Music Awards’ ceremony.

He co hosted the show for the first time (with his friend Blake Shelton), & may be most highly, he won the ACM’s covered performer or entertainer of the Year award, after being nominated for the 1st time ever. “I don’t believe he expected it for a minute,” said Lorianne Crook, co-host of television Crook & Chase. From that point forward, Luke Bryan was on fire. His headlining Dirt Road Diaries Tour rapidly became one of the newest tickets in country music, selling out each date. His 2013 album ‘Crash My Party’, released in August, wound up moving more than half a million copies in its 1st week & turned into the best-selling country album of the year.
