Luke Bryan’s concert was definitely hot. Was it casually political? Maybe...

Luke Bryan seemed as hot as anyone I saw playing at the PNC Music Pavilion, and I mean really, really hot.

Like, still-almost-90 degrees to 9: 15-pm. hot sweat drop constantly off your elbows by the third hot song. So hot that the 41 year old country music star had trouble expressing how hot he was on stage under these lights, probably because he was too hot.

"It's hot as hell, what's the problem?" Bryan asked the sold-out crowd "Someone Else Calling You Baby", the sixth song in his 23-song marathon Friday night. "I tell you, if they see me coming down, give me just a minute, I'll get up, but I could hit ..." he stammered. "It could be that ..." he sweated. "Ugh, like, UGH," he sighed. Then, again: "It's hot like hell".

He probably did not help that he opened with a lush performance of the 2011 hit "Country Girl (Shake It for Me)" that showed 10 giant shots of fire from the scene every time he sang the titular line ; from a dozen rows back, it seemed as if the oven opened to put something on the grill, so on stage, it must have the impression of being on the surface of the sun.
